Anna Yu

Founding Member

Anna has nearly two decades of experience advising institutional investors and multinational corporations on complex cross-border transactions, acquisitions, and strategic investments across Asia and international markets. Her work spans multiple sectors including technology, consumer, healthcare, advanced manufacturing, and financial services.

Based between Tokyo, Shanghai and California, Anna is fluent in English and Chinese, and conversational in Japanese.

Anna holds a Master of Laws degree from the University of Chicago.

Yuri Kimura

Senior Strategic Advisor

Yuri is a seasoned Japan-based business advisor with decades of experience in cross-border brand strategy and market positioning. She currently serves as Global Cultural Strategist at a venture capital firm, advising international clients on Japan market entry and brand development, and is also the founder of Artrip-Japan Inc., with a strong track record of bridging global brands with the Japanese market across business, hospitality, and lifestyle sectors. Her deep local network and decades of on-the-ground experience give her unique insight into Japanese consumer and business culture.

Prior to founding her own venture, she spent a decade in sales at a major Japanese trading house, later served as Head of International Marketing at a family office.

She is trilingual in Japanese, English, and Chinese and holds a Master’s degree in Regional Cultural Studies from Tokyo University of Foreign Studies.

Tom Pan

Senior Advisor — Finance & Trade

Tom has decades of experience in finance and international trading. Based in China, he provides strategic advice on cross-border trade finance, capital deployment, and commercial structuring — helping clients bridge Chinese and international markets.

Throughout his career, Tom has advised on complex financial transactions and trading structures across multiple jurisdictions. His deep understanding of China’s business environment and global trade flows makes him a valuable resource for clients navigating cross-border investments and commercial partnerships.

Tom is fluent in English and Chinese.
